.... well-known micro-scratches, or in modern terms, swirls.  Even modern textile car washes, despite their advertised softness, are not an alternative. They damage the paint just like traditional brush rollers, creating scratches that can only be removed with fine abrasive polish. Therefore, we recommend hand washing.

Optimal care starts with hand washing. Avoid using hard brushes or abrasive tools. Here's a brief guide:

  • For heavy contamination like tar, bugs, etc., begin with a pre-cleaner. Apply and let it work, then rinse with water. For tough spots, use a suitable brush. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Follow with a wash using a wash bucket, shampoo, and a wash mitt or sponge. Pre-rinse with water to remove as much dirt as possible. Repeat wash until the body is completely clean. Avoid washing in direct sunlight to prevent water spots.
  • Alternatively, use a foamer and snow foam for a "touchless wash." Apply cleaning foam to dissolve dirt, and rinse with water.
  • For drying, use a blower. Minimize surface rubbing to prevent scratches. Air dryers are part of the "touchless wash."
