Application area: Smooth leather on car or furniture upholstery, bags, suitcases, and clothing with scratches, scuffs, and slight fading.

The quantity is typically sufficient to treat an entire interior or a complete furniture set. The color touch-up is applied only to areas with discoloration. In cases of extreme discoloration, a larger quantity of Leather Fresh smooth leather dye may be needed. However, this is rarely necessary.

Colourlock recommends after dyeing:

1st step: Leather Protector care lotion 11010
2nd step: Leather Sealant 11012 or Elephant Leather Preserver 11013

Work only on clean and grease-free surfaces to ensure Leather Fresh adheres well and does not trap gritty dirt.

Always test Leather Fresh on a hidden area first to check for changes or color accuracy! The liquid color does not look identical! Shake well, dab onto a hidden test area, and dry with a hairdryer.

Apply the dye evenly with a sponge to the affected areas from seam to seam and dry with a hairdryer. For small spots, application to just the affected area is sufficient. Treat only areas with discoloration. If high coverage is needed, apply the dye in multiple layers, drying with a hairdryer between applications.

Leather Fresh can be applied with a dabbing motion (for localized areas requiring more coverage) or in circular motions. The first layer is usually sufficient only on cracked or darker leathers, as the Fresh is absorbed into the cracks. On lighter areas, multiple applications may be necessary until adequate coverage is achieved. Application irregularities can be corrected using the Leather Sanding Pad before applying the next layer.

gute Farbe, aber nicht tiefschwarz

Mit ist der Farbton bekannt, ist ziemlich genau der Farbton vom Volvo-Leder, das sich eher als sehr dunkles Grafit beschreiben lässt.
Trocknet schnell, lieber 3* ganz dünn als 1* dick auftragen (Schwamm tupfen), alte Youtjube-Videos von Colourlock VORHER ansehen!)

Wer einen Volvo mit Leder Charcoral hat (also fast alle noch lebenden alten), sollte sich ein Fläschlein sichern. Das ist offenbar Altbestand (geht ja nicht um).
Wer aber tiefschwarzes Leder hat, sollte die Finger davon lassen. Die Farbe wird bei Trocknung nicht tiefschwarz, sondern dunkel-anthrazit.
