COLOURLOCK Leather Care - condition smooth leather and add UV protection

COLOURLOCK Leather Care is a conditioner for smooth leather, perforated leather and imitation leather. It refreshes the surface, supports a supple feel and provides UV protection against fading.

The formula leaves a natural semi-matt appearance and a soft, grippy surface without unwanted slipperiness. It also helps reduce new soiling and brittleness.

Application

Clean the leather with a suitable cleaner, wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely.
Shake Leather Care thoroughly and test on a hidden area.
Apply a small amount to a suitable soft applicator or soft cloth.
Spread thinly and evenly over the area, allow it to dry and gently remove any excess.

Suitable for and important notes

For suitable smooth leather, perforated leather and imitation leather in vehicles. Particularly useful for older or regularly used leather.

Important: Leather Care is a conditioning product. For pure wear and dye-transfer protection on new leather, Leather Shield is the appropriate product type.

COLOURLOCK Leather Care - detailed application instructions

Preparation

Leather Care is intended for smooth leather, perforated leather and artificial leather. Confirm that the existing coating is suitable.
Clean the leather with a suitable cleaner. Pick up cleaner residue with a slightly damp cloth.
Allow the surface to dry completely. Do not apply conditioner to damp or visibly dirty leather.
Shake the bottle and test colour, feel and gloss on a hidden spot.

Step-by-step application

Place a few drops of Leather Care on a clean sponge or soft microfibre cloth.
Spread the product thinly and evenly over a continuous area from seam to seam.
Treat seams, edges, perforations and recesses sparingly and avoid product build-up.
Allow the conditioner to dry completely.
Remove visible excess or uneven areas with a clean, soft cloth.
Apply a second thin treatment only to very dry, absorbent leather and after the first coat has fully dried.

Aftercare and maintenance

Choose the maintenance interval according to use and leather condition. Inspect heavily used areas more frequently.
Remove dirt and allow the surface to dry completely before every reapplication.

Important information

Do not over-condition. Excess product can cause greasy gloss, uneven feel or increased dirt attraction.
Aspiration hazard if swallowed: immediately call a poison centre or doctor and do not induce vomiting. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Wear protective gloves, avoid release to the environment, store locked up and keep out of reach of children; follow the label.
