COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaner Strong 1 L is an intensive leather cleaner for heavy soiling on surface-coloured smooth leather. It is suitable for thorough work on seats, steering wheels, armrests and door panels.

The cleaner is applied in a controlled foam form. This helps regulate moisture and lift dirt from the grain without unnecessarily soaking the surface.

Application

  1. Vacuum the leather and test the cleaner on a hidden area.
  2. Pour Leather Cleaner Strong into a suitable Foamer Bottle.
  3. Apply foam to a sponge or soft leather brush, never directly to the leather.
  4. Clean from seam to seam and immediately remove dirt and residue with a damp cloth.
  5. Allow to dry, then condition or continue the repair process as required.

Suitable for and important notes

For heavily soiled, surface-coloured smooth leather in vehicles and on suitable leather products. The container holds 1 litre.

Important: Immediate repeated application can attack the colour finish. Do not use on suede, nubuck or velour leather.

COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaner Strong 1 L - detailed application instructions

Preparation

  • Use Leather Cleaner Strong only on surface-coloured smooth leather and for heavier contamination.
  • Vacuum loose particles or remove them with a soft cloth.
  • Test colourfastness and coating stability on a hidden spot. Do not continue if colour transfers to the cloth.
  • Shake the bottle and fill the cleaner into the foamer bottle. Prepare a sponge, soft brush and slightly damp cloth.

Step-by-step application

  1. Apply cleaning foam to the sponge or brush, never directly to the leather.
  2. Work in sections from seam to seam so no visible partial areas or edges are created.
  3. Loosen dirt with small, controlled movements. Use the brush in the grain with low pressure.
  4. Immediately pick up loosened dirt and foam with a clean, slightly damp cloth.
  5. If required, clean heavily soiled spots again after inspection. Do not damage the colour layer through prolonged, repeated rubbing.
  6. Remove all cleaner residue and allow the leather to air-dry.
  7. Assess the result only when dry.

Aftercare and maintenance

  • Once fully dry, apply a conditioner or protective treatment suitable for the leather.
  • Prefer a milder cleaner for regular light maintenance cleaning.

Important information

  • Direct application and frequent aggressive repetition can attack the colour layer.
  • Do not use on open-pored aniline leather, suede, nubuck or Alcantara.
