COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaner Mild - mild and controlled cleaning for smooth leather

COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaner Mild is a mild cleaner for light soiling on surface-coloured smooth leather. It is suitable for regular maintenance cleaning of seats, steering wheels, armrests and door panels.

Foam application allows controlled moisture. Dirt is lifted from the surface and grain, then removed with a damp cloth.

Application

Vacuum the leather and test the cleaner on a hidden area.
Pour Leather Cleaner Mild into a suitable Foamer Bottle.
Apply foam to a sponge or soft brush, not directly to the leather.
Clean from seam to seam and repeat if required.
Remove dirt and cleaner residue with a damp cloth, allow to dry and then condition or protect.

Suitable for and important notes

For lightly soiled, surface-coloured smooth leather in vehicles and on suitable leather products.

Important: Do not use on suede, nubuck or velour leather. Shake before use, test compatibility and protect from frost and heat.

COLOURLOCK Leather Cleaner Mild - detailed application instructions

Preparation

Confirm that the material is surface-coloured smooth leather. Select a dedicated cleaner for open-pored aniline leather or suede.
Carefully remove loose particles and dust.
Test colourfastness, coating stability and material compatibility on a hidden spot.
Shake the bottle and fill the cleaner into the foamer bottle. Prepare a sponge, soft brush and slightly damp cloth.

Step-by-step application

Apply cleaning foam to the sponge or brush, never directly to the leather surface.
Clean evenly from seam to seam, working through small sections in sequence.
If required, loosen dirt in the grain with a soft brush using low pressure.
Immediately pick up loosened dirt and foam residue with a clean, slightly damp cloth.
After inspection, perform another mild cleaning pass if required.
Remove all cleaner residue and allow the surface to air-dry.
Check the leather for an even result only when dry.

Aftercare and maintenance

Once fully dry, use a conditioner or protective treatment suitable for the leather.
For maintenance cleaning, prefer repeated gentle treatment to unnecessarily heavy rubbing.

Important information

Do not soak the leather or apply cleaner directly to the surface.
Do not use on untested open-pored leather, suede, nubuck or Alcantara.
May produce an allergic reaction. Follow the label and protect from frost and heat.
