ThermoPad Trapez

ZviZZer ThermoPad Trapez - controlled correction with consistent pad firmness

ZviZZer ThermoPad Trapez polishing pads combine an outward-flared polishing surface with open-cell thermo foam. The foam is designed to retain its shape and firmness as friction heat builds during machine polishing. This helps the pad feel more consistent and maintain a more even level of correction throughout the polishing cycle.

The trapezoid shape supports controlled polishing around edges, contours and transitions. Its polishing surface extends beyond the backing plate, helping to keep the plate away from adjacent parts. With backing plate and pad sizes ranging from 35 mm / 50 mm to 150 mm / 165 mm, you can choose a pad to suit the area you are working on.

Heat-stable foam for extended polishing cycles

Conventional polishing foam can soften as it heats up, reducing its cutting performance. The foam used in ZviZZer ThermoPad Trapez pads is designed to retain its firmness and shape as working temperatures rise. This supports consistent correction and predictable handling during intensive paint correction, one-step polishing and finishing work.

According to ZviZZer, its thermo foam pads can last approximately five to six times longer than conventional foam pads. Their tear resistance and heat-stable structure are useful for regular professional detailing. The clearly defined firmness levels also make it easier to select a suitable pad for each polishing step.

Five firmness levels from heavy cut to high-gloss finish

Blue Ultra Hard is the firmest foam in the range. It is intended for strong correction on hard paint, deep scratches and severe oxidation. Within the ZviZZer system, pair the blue pad with PC 5000 Pre Cut.

Red Hard provides strong cutting performance for weathered paint, visible wear and pronounced swirl marks. Its recommended system pairing is ZviZZer HC 4000 Heavy Cut.

Orange Medium balances correction and surface refinement. It suits moderate paint defects and one-step polishing. Pair it with ZviZZer MC 3000 Medium Cut or ZviZZer ONE POLISH.

Yellow Soft is designed for finer polishing steps that address holograms, haze and light surface marks. Combined with ZviZZer FC 2000 Fine Cut, it helps refine the paint before the final finishing stage.

Green Ultra Soft is the softest finishing pad in the range. Choose it for gentle high-gloss polishing and the final refinement of the paint. Within the ZviZZer system, it pairs with UC 1000 Ultrafine Cut.

Choose the right pad for correction, one-step polishing or finishing

The five firmness levels let you match the pad to the paint, the defects and the finish you want to achieve. Blue and red are intended for stronger correction. Orange covers balanced correction and one-step work, while yellow and green take the surface through finer polishing to a high-gloss finish.

Before polishing the entire vehicle, test your chosen combination of pad, polish and machine on a small area. Centre the pad on a correctly sized backing plate. Clean it regularly during use to remove polish residue and spent abrasive material so the foam can continue to work effectively.
