Tornador - cleaning tools for car detailing

Tornador is a Bendel Werkzeuge brand of compressed air cleaning tools for professional vehicle detailing. Its strength is controlled cleaning in places that are difficult to reach with a brush, cloth or straight air jet: vents, seat rails, seams, upholstery and carpets. The range includes guns that work with cleaning liquid, dry air tools, and complementary steam and spray extraction equipment. At carparts.koeln, you can choose a tool for your workflow and find components for maintenance and repair.

How the Venturi principle and rotating air pulse work

In cleaning guns with a liquid cup, compressed air passes through a shaped nozzle. Static pressure falls at a narrowed section of the flow path. This draws cleaning liquid from the cup into the moving air - an application of the Venturi principle. The liquid is dispersed into a fine spray. The outlet assembly also produces a rapidly rotating air stream. This rotating pulse helps dislodge dirt from textile fibres and hard-to-reach structures. Liquid pickup and the Tornado effect are related parts of the process, but they are not the same mechanism. A dry air tool without a cup does not draw in cleaning liquid; steam and spray extraction tools operate differently again.

Choose a Tornador tool for your work

CLASSIC Z-010RS: This cleaning gun combines fine atomisation with rotating air for controlled work on suitable upholstery, carpets and interior surfaces. Its air and liquid settings let you apply cleaner and then work with air. BLACK Z-020RS: Designed for intensive, frequent interior cleaning, it uses a rotation assembly for a strong cleaning pulse and can also switch between liquid cleaning and air only. Both models need a compressor that supplies enough air continuously. Check each product's technical specifications rather than relying on the compressor's maximum pressure alone.

BASIC Z-014RS: A dry cleaning gun for blowing dust, sand and loose particles out of narrow areas without adding liquid. MINI Z-007: A compact tool for targeted work around vents, seams and seat rails. MINI Z-008RS: The more capable MINI with a rotation set is intended for frequent professional use in small areas. Rotador BEAST Z-017: A cleaning attachment that combines rotating action with a suitable vacuum connection to collect dislodged dirt. Choose by surface area, level of soiling, wet or dry workflow and available compressed air supply.

The broader range also includes STEAM for steam cleaning and SPRAY-VAC for applying liquid and immediately extracting it from heavily soiled textiles. They complement the air cleaning guns while serving different tasks. Browse the Tornador air cleaning tools and the Tornador cleaning devices to compare the range.

Find Tornador spare parts in four steps

  1. Read the model code: Check the label on your tool, such as Z-007, Z-010RS, Z-014RS, Z-017 or Z-020RS. An additional letter can indicate another tool generation.
  2. Open the model page: Choose the code in the Tornador and Rotador spare parts overview. Most of these pages have a parts illustration; Z-017 uses a product list.
  3. Compare the component: Match the illustration position or your existing component against the image, part number, size and version in the listing. This matters particularly for nozzles, seals, O-rings and similarly named screws.
  4. Check and order: Open the product page and confirm its compatibility and selected version. If you know the part name or number, you can also browse the full Tornador parts catalogue.

For other models, including the MINI Z-008RS, confirm that the individual part explicitly lists your model. Do not assume that a similar tool uses the same component.
