Glas repair system
The application of the 3M system for repairing defects in glass surfaces is suitable for old and classic cars when replacing the glass is extremely expensive or no longer available. Another application area is the treatment of shop windows or commercial glass, where repair is generally more cost-effective than replacement.
Scratched surfaces are restored using 3M sanding discs, with 1 to a maximum of 3 sanding steps depending on the depth of the scratches, without compromising optical clarity. Even deep scratches (e.g., caused by window guides on side windows) can be completely removed. Finally, the surface is treated with 3M Trizact Glass Polishing Compound 60150.
