3M fine abrasive with particularly dense distribution of Trizact abrasive particles.

This results in very uniform matting or sanding. Only very little paint layer is removed. The subsequent processing with a fine sanding paste quickly creates a glossy surface. 3M Trizact fine grinding discs are excellent for removing orange peel and spray mist.

Further applications are in the finishing area for removing dust inclusions and intermediate sanding after painting. Grinding discs are used before polishing to create finely ground surfaces.

3M Trizact abrasives have a particularly long service life due to the unique 3-dimensional structure consisting of silicon carbide, aluminum oxide on a foam film backing. Advantages for commercial users include time and cost savings. No alteration of the original surface structure and saving of working time and steps, fewer tool changes, lower costs, consistent surface quality, and sustained high cutting performance.
