The premium ZviZZer Allrounder Pad combines two different foam materials. Between the hook-and-loop backing and the thermo foam lies a thin black PU foam layer. This intermediate layer is impermeable to all polishes. The unique material mix offers several advantages:

Better handling of compounds: Smoother and more even machine behavior on the polishing surface
Protects your tools: No polish penetration to the hook-and-loop backing
Slightly increased cut: The PU foam applies additional pressure on the thermo foam, enhancing abrasive performance

🔧 Breathable polishing foam for lower polishing temperatures

The block material of the thermo foam is treated before being made into a polishing pad, including thermal gassing and vacuuming, so that the cell membranes are literally blown away. This process, called reticulation, increases the foam’s breathability and ensures optimal temperature control. Lower temperatures improve polishing results and enhance process safety.

The open cells improve pad cooling and allow the polishing compound to penetrate the foam. With lower polishing temperatures, a streak-free finish can be achieved much faster. This is a key characteristic of high-quality polishing foam and can easily be tested by blowing air through the foam.
