ZviZZer Sample Box - 5 Thermo Trapez Polishing Pads
The ZviZZer Sample Box contains five Thermo Trapez polishing pads with coordinated density levels. The set covers the essential stages of machine paint correction: intensive defect removal, heavy cutting, medium cutting, one-step polishing, hologram removal and high-gloss finishing.
Instead of selecting several individual densities, the Sample Box provides the complete Thermo Trapez colour system. This allows you to respond to different paint hardness levels and defects and use a test spot to determine the right combination of pad, compound and polishing machine.
5 polishing pads with five clearly defined density levels
Blue Ultra Hard is the firmest pad in the box. It is designed for maximum correction on hard paint, deep scratches and severe oxidation. Within the ZviZZer polishing system, it is paired with PC 5000 Pre Cut.
Red Hard provides strong cutting performance for weathered paint, pronounced signs of use and heavy swirl marks. The corresponding ZviZZer compound is HC 4000 Heavy Cut.
Orange Medium combines balanced correction with effective surface refinement. It is suitable for medium paint defects and one-step polishing. Recommended products include ZviZZer MC 3000 Medium Cut and ZviZZer ONE POLISH.
Yellow Soft is intended for fine polishing against holograms, dull haze and light surface imperfections. Combined with ZviZZer FC 2000 Fine Cut, it is suitable for paint refinement and demanding finishing stages.
Green Ultra Soft is the softest pad in the set. It is used for gentle high-gloss polishing, wet-look results and final paint refinement. Within the ZviZZer system, it is paired with UC 1000 Ultrafine Cut.
Thermostable foam for consistent polishing performance
Machine polishing generates friction heat. Conventional polishing foam can become softer as temperatures increase and may lose correction performance during the polishing cycle. The open-cell thermo foam used for ZviZZer pads is designed to retain its shape and density as working temperatures rise.
The more stable foam structure supports consistent correction and predictable pad behaviour. This makes the selected density easier to control during longer polishing cycles and when working across larger vehicle panels. According to the manufacturer, pads from the Thermo range are also approximately five to six times more durable than conventional foam pads.
Trapezoidal profile for edges, contours and controlled handling
The polishing face of a Thermo Trapez pad is larger than the hook-and-loop surface on the back. This flared construction supports movement along body contours and panel edges. It also increases the distance between the backing plate and the paint surface, helping to reduce the risk of the backing plate contacting adjacent components.
The pads can be used with a suitable polishing system matched to the selected size. With five density levels, the box is suitable for multi-stage paint correction as well as targeted one-step and finishing work.
Two sizes for different polishers and working areas
75 mm / 90 mm: This version has a 75 mm hook-and-loop surface and a 90 mm polishing face. It is intended for correctly sized backing plates and compact polishing systems.
125 mm / 140 mm: This version has a 125 mm hook-and-loop surface and a 140 mm polishing face. It is intended for correctly sized polishing machines and larger paint sections.
The dimensions are always stated in the order hook-and-loop surface / polishing face. Before use, confirm that the backing plate matches the selected hook-and-loop diameter.
How to use the ZviZZer Thermo Trapez pads
Select the density according to the condition of the paint and the compound being used. On unfamiliar paint, begin with a test spot to find the least aggressive combination that still provides sufficient correction. Centre the pad carefully on the matching backing plate and begin with a small amount of compound.
Remove compound residue and spent material from the pad regularly during use. This keeps the open-cell foam structure clear and helps maintain consistent performance. Where possible, use separate pads for different compounds to prevent coarse and fine abrasives from mixing.
Clean the pad with a suitable polishing pad cleaner after use. The foam must be completely clean and dry before it is used again.
