Turbo air blow gun for thorough car cleaning

Whether in a detailing shop, for professional vehicle care, or in your home garage – the BGS turbo compressed-air blow gun is made for anyone who wants their vehicle clean down to the last detail. The nozzle’s swirl effect creates a concentrated air jet that removes deeply embedded dirt from gaps, seams, and tight spaces and dries surfaces quickly. This makes it the perfect complement to your car wash routine, interior cleaning, and engine-bay cleaning.

Short description

The BGS turbo compressed-air blow gun is a handy, powerful air tool for dry cleaning dirty surfaces and for targeted blowing out of dirt and dust. Thanks to the swirl nozzle, it creates a strong burst of compressed air that lets you quickly and thoroughly clean or dry upholstery, floor mats, wheel wells, components, air vents, and other hard-to-reach areas.

Technical info

The BGS 7179 performs best at an operating pressure of around 6.2 bar and connects to your compressor via a 1/4" air fitting. A hose inner diameter of 10 mm is recommended to reliably deliver the required airflow. Air consumption is approx. 170 l/min, giving you consistent, strong compressed-air performance. Despite its compact, easy-to-handle design, the gun delivers a powerful air jet – ideal for car care and workshop use. Please note the specified sound pressure level of up to approx. 102 dB(A) and use hearing protection if needed.

Ideal for car care, detailing, and workshop use

Especially in professional vehicle detailing, the BGS turbo compressed-air blow gun is a real time-saver: compressed air reaches areas where no brush can clean properly, and it helps loosen dirt before you wet-clean or shampoo. For car enthusiasts who care for their vehicle regularly, it’s the perfect addition to a vacuum cleaner, fabric cleaner, interior care products, and wheel/wheel-well cleaning.

In the workshop, the gun is also highly versatile – for blowing out parts, machines, workbenches, tools, and brake components. Its handy shape and powerful air jet make it a reliable helper for all compressed-air cleaning tasks.

For car care & detailing

  1. Preparation
Set the compressor to the recommended operating pressure (approx. 6–6.2 bar). Make sure the hose and connection (1/4") are properly seated and that there are no leaks. Wear safety glasses and hearing protection if needed.
  2. Cleaning the interior
Use the turbo air blow gun to blow out seat upholstery, floor mats, carpets, air vents, seat rails, door pockets, and storage compartments. Keep the nozzle at a slight distance from the surface and move it evenly so the airflow loosens dirt and dust from fibers and crevices.
  3. Exterior areas & components
In wheel wells, the engine bay, and around brakes and suspension components, you can blow out loose dirt and remaining water after washing. This prepares parts for further work or speeds up drying.
  4. Finishing
Pick up loosened dirt with a vacuum cleaner or microfiber towel. Combine compressed-air cleaning with suitable cleaners (e.g., fabric cleaner, APC, wheel cleaner) to further optimize your detailing results.
