ABRALON is a unique specialty product for the finishing polish. It minimizes conventional polishing procedures, resulting in significant time and cost savings.
Typical applications include high-gloss paints, solid surface materials, and gel coats. ABRALON's construction consists of a grinding net, foam center, and hook-and-loop backing. The abrasive grains are attached to the net, and the openings in the net allow water and air to move freely around the abrasive grains during sanding. ABRALON is excellent for rounded surfaces, edges, and sharp corners. During dry sanding, the net moves continuously, preventing clogging. Surface cleaning is easily achieved with compressed air.
In wet sanding with ABRALON, the open cell structure compresses and pushes water into the foam center through the openings in the net. When the foam expands again, it absorbs the liquid. This constant movement of water keeps the product clean and extends its lifespan.
