Koch Chemie "The Finisher" TexLock is an invisible, water-based textile sealant for all fabric surfaces in and around the vehicle. It protects fibres on convertible soft tops, seat upholstery and carpets against water, dirt and stains without changing the original look or feel. The material stays soft, grippy and breathable – but becomes much easier to keep clean.

Invisible Fabric Protection with Easy-to-Clean Effect

The active ingredients form a fine protective network around each fibre so that liquids bead off more easily and dirt cannot penetrate as deeply. Contamination can be removed with less effort during the next wash and stubborn staining is effectively reduced. Fabrics stay visually fresh for longer and maintain a high-quality appearance.

Flexible Use - Interior and Exterior

TexLock can be used throughout the vehicle: on convertible soft tops and textile roofs, on seat fabrics and covers as well as on floor mats and trunk carpets. The fresh scent makes the application pleasant inside the cabin and fits perfectly into professional detailing workflows.

For best performance, Koch Chemie recommends a thorough pre-cleaning with "The Finisher" LeatherTexClean. Removing dust, grease and old residues first ensures that TexLock can bond evenly to the fibres and build a uniform protective layer. Used together, both products form a smart, system-based solution for cleaning and protecting automotive textiles.

Straightforward Application with a Microfibre Applicator

Clean the textile thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
Mask off sensitive surrounding areas that should not be sealed.
Apply TexLock evenly with a microfibre applicator pad and work it in using cross-wise motions until the area is evenly damp.
Let the treated surface dry and cure for at least 24 hours without moisture or mechanical stress.

After curing, maintain the protected textile only with mild cleaners and gentle mechanical action. When water repellency starts to fade, simply clean the fabric again and refresh the sealant.

Stoffversiegelung - Einfache Anwendung für reproduzierbare Ergebnisse

Die gereinigte Textiloberfläche muss vor dem Auftrag der Versiegelung trocken und frei von Rückständen sein
Daher: Reinige die zu versiegelnde Oberfläche vorab gründlich mit Koch Chemie LeatherTexClean
Nicht zu behandelnde Bereiche (z. B. Zierleisten oder Glas) mit Masking Tape abkleben
Trage Schutzhandschuhe bei der Verarbeitung
TexLock mit einem Microfaserapplikator gleichmäßig auftragen
Im Kreuzgang einarbeiten, bis die Fläche homogen benetzt ist
Versiegelte Oberfläche mindestens 24 Stunden trocknen und aushärten lassen, ohne Feuchtigkeitseinfluss
Wenn die Wirkung langsam nachlassen sollte ist eine Auffrischung durch eine erneute Anwendung möglich

❗️ Unser Tipp:

Nach der Aushärtung sollten die behandelten Textilien nur noch mit milden Reinigern und sanfter Mechanik gepflegt werden. Bei nachlassender Wasserabweisung kann die Versiegelung nach einer erneuten Reinigung jederzeit aufgefrischt werden.
