SONAX PROFILINE Ceramic Coating CC Glass 50 ml is a hydrophobic ceramic coating developed for automotive glass. The professional coating repels water and dirt while helping to improve visibility in rainy conditions. At higher speeds, airflow can carry water droplets away from the treated windows more effectively.

The glass coating is designed for professional detailers and experienced users. During winter, the treated glass surface can also make frost and ice easier to remove.

Preparing the automotive glass

Wash the vehicle thoroughly before application. Dirt, grease and residues from automatic car washes must be completely removed from the glass. For optimum preparation, polish the surface with a suitable glass polish and felt pad. Remove all remaining residue with glass cleaner and a clean glass microfibre cloth.

How to apply SONAX Ceramic Coating CC Glass

  1. Apply a sufficient amount of coating to a suitable coating applicator.
  2. Spread the product in a crosshatch pattern over an area of approximately 40 x 40 cm.
  3. Work the coating thoroughly into the glass to support its performance and durability.
  4. Treat the remaining sections individually using the same method.
  5. Allow the coating to react for approximately 45 to 60 minutes at a room temperature of 20 to 25 °C.
  6. Remove the residue with a fresh glass microfibre cloth and polish to a streak-free finish.

After polishing, keep the treated glass dry and do not touch it for 4 hours. Ensure good ventilation throughout the application process.

Fahr­zeug waschen. Um Schmutz, Fett sowie Rück­stände aus der auto­ma­ti­schen Fahr­zeug­wä­sche von der Ober­fläche zu entfernen wird die Scheibe gründ­lich mit SONAX PROFILINE Glass Polish und Polier­ma­schine mit Filzpad poliert. Anschlie­ßend mit einem Glas­rei­niger wie SONAX PROFILINE Glass Cleaner und Micro­fa­ser­tuch Glas die Rück­stände entfernen. Zum Versie­geln ausrei­chend Produkt auf einen Coating Appli­cator geben und damit das Produkt im Kreuz­gang auf einer Fläche von ca. 40x40cm auftragen. Inten­sives Einar­beiten ins Glas verbes­sert die Halt­bar­keit und Wirkung der Versie­ge­lung. Dann trägt man frisches Produkt auf die nächste Teil­fläche auf und geht wie vorher beschrieben vor. Wenn die gesamte Fläche einer Scheibe behan­delt ist, beginnt man mit der nächsten Scheibe. Das Produkt sollte dann 60 Minuten (bei 20-25°C Raum­tem­pe­ratur) auf dem Glas wirken. Danach wird der Rück­stand mit einem neuen SONAX Micro­fa­ser­tuch Glas abpo­liert und strei­fen­frei entfernt. Ab jetzt darf die Scheibe für 4 Stunden nicht mehr berührt werden und nicht nass werden. Dann hat sich der wasser­ab­wei­sende Effekt voll ausge­bildet.
