🔧 Air-permeable polishing foam for lower temperatures during polishing

The base material of the thermo foam is thermally treated and vacuumed before being processed into polishing pads, causing the cell membranes to be literally removed. This process, known as reticulation, increases air permeability and ensures optimal temperature control. Lower temperatures improve polishing results and enhance process reliability.

The open-cell structure improves pad cooling and allows the polishing compound to penetrate the foam. With lower polishing temperatures, a streak-free finish can be achieved much faster. This is a key feature of high-quality polishing foam and can be easily tested by blowing air through the foam.
