Q² Mohs is the most traditional silicon-based ceramic coating from GYEON. It combines the advantages of modern silicon technology with an extremely user-friendly application.
Based on the fact that the average paint hardness of cars is between 3-4 H according to the pencil hardness scale, Q² Mohs adds another 3H on top, making the paint extremely resistant to scratches. The extraordinary hardness of the coating maintains the effects achieved during paint correction and is accompanied by a much slower deterioration of the paint during maintenance.
Durability is the most distinctive feature of this product. Once applied, it is able to maintain 80% of its original hydrophobic (water-repellent) properties for a full 12 months, ensuring optimum protection against environmental influences and operating conditions. Compared to natural wax, even a premium product, it lasts three times longer. And even if the optical hydrophobic effect should weaken over time, it is still demonstrably active.
The self-cleaning ability ensures a perfect appearance of your car between regular washes, as accumulating pollutants adhere less and can thus easily run off. Therefore, cleaning your car will be done effortlessly and most dirt will be removed by a simple high-pressure wash.
Q² Mohs is of course easy to apply to dark paintwork too. Each layering added will improve durability and scratch resistance. The product should only be applied to paintwork in new or very good condition, e.g. directly after a previous defect correction.

The better the surface is prepared, the better the result in terms of gloss, durability and beading effect.
-Thorough pre-wash and decontamination with Q²M Foam, Q²M Tar, Q²M Iron, Q²M Clay.
-Polish all painted surfaces to a high gloss with Q²M Polish and, if necessary, Q² Primer.
-Wash the vehicle with a strongly degreasing detergent, e.g. dishwashing liquid and hot water.
-Remove all dirt, waxes and oily polish residues with Q²M Prep (IPA alone is not enough).
-Shake bottle, put a few drops of Q² Mohs on the suede cloth wrapped around the applicator
-Apply in a criss-cross pattern until the coat is thick and even, working on smaller areas at a time.
-After 10-30 seconds, buff out excess with fresh Q²M BaldWipe microfibre cloth to achieve an even finish
-Apply at least one more coat after at least 1 hour. One more coat increases the thickness and hardness. Apply Q² Mohs in a maximum of 3 coats.
-After 1 hour, apply Q²M Cure Spray as a topping and wipe off with Q²M SoftWipe to protect against possible water spots.
-Avoid water during the drying time (24 hours), do not wash with car shampoo during the curing phase (14 days).
