FLEX PXCE 18-EC – the new 3-in-1 cordless polisher for professional car detailing

With the FLEX PXCE 18-EC, a new generation of compact cordless polishers begins. FLEX presents the PXCE as a world first in professional car detailing: it is the first cordless polisher to combine rotary, free-spinning orbital and forced rotation orbital operation in a single machine.

This makes the FLEX PXCE 18-EC suitable for a wide range of professional paint correction tasks – from localized sanding and spot repair to paint correction and a hologram-free finish.

Instead of using several different machines for different polishing tasks, the PXCE can be quickly adapted to the specific application thanks to its tool-free quick-change system.

3 drive modes – one FLEX polisher

At the heart of the FLEX PXCE 18-EC cordless polisher is its tool-free quick-change system. This allows the machine to be quickly configured for different paint correction applications.

• Rotary – for direct cutting performance, targeted paint correction and demanding polishing work
• Free-spinning orbital – for controlled polishing and an even, hologram-free finish
• Forced rotation orbital – for high correction performance combined with orbital movement

Switching between the different drive modes is completely tool-free. This combination makes the PXCE an exceptionally versatile polisher for professional vehicle detailing and paint correction.

30, 50 and 75 mm backing plates – from spot repair to paint correction

The FLEX PXCE 18-EC can be used with 30, 50 and 75 mm backing plates. This makes the cordless polisher suitable for both very small, hard-to-reach areas and larger painted surfaces.

• A-, B- and C-pillars
• Mirror housings
• Bumpers
• Narrow bodywork areas
• Individual scratches and paint defects
• Larger paint surfaces with a 75 mm backing plate

Particularly interesting: the PXCE also allows rotary polishing with all three backing plate sizes up to 75 mm.

3, 6 or 12 mm orbit for different polishing applications

The orbital movement can also be specifically adapted to the individual polishing task.

In free-spinning orbital mode, three different orbit sizes are available:

• 3 mm orbit – for particularly precise work
• 6 mm orbit – for versatile polishing and correction work
• 12 mm orbit – for efficient processing of larger surfaces

In forced rotation orbital mode, the FLEX PXCE 18-EC operates with a 6 mm orbit.

This means that a single polisher can be used very flexibly for different requirements in paint correction, car care and professional detailing.

Tool-free quick-change system for maximum flexibility

One of the biggest advantages of the FLEX PXCE 18-EC is its tool-free quick-change system. The polishing setup and drive mode can be quickly adapted to the next task. This is particularly practical during extensive vehicle detailing when switching between small defect areas, tight bodywork sections and larger painted surfaces.

The result: fewer machine changes and a more efficient paint correction workflow.

Intuitive speed control via touch panel

The FLEX PXCE is controlled via a modern touch panel directly on the polisher.

The desired speed can be quickly adjusted to suit the individual task. According to FLEX, the control panel can also be operated while wearing work gloves.

An integrated lock function also protects against accidental changes to the settings while polishing.

Integrated LED light for paint inspection

Another special feature of the FLEX PXCE 18-EC cordless polisher is its integrated lighting.

The three-stage LED light offers color temperatures from 2,500 to 6,500 Kelvin. This allows you to inspect the paint surface more effectively while you are working.

During paint correction and finishing in particular, sanding marks, polishing defects and the overall surface finish can be assessed directly in the working area.

FLEX 18 V battery system – cordless and flexible working

The PXCE 18-EC is part of the existing FLEX 18 V battery system.

The machine is compatible with all FLEX 18 V battery packs. If you already use other FLEX 18 V tools, your existing batteries can therefore also be used with the new cordless polisher.

This enables cordless working around the entire vehicle and makes the PXCE particularly attractive for vehicle detailing, spot repair and professional mobile use.

FLEX PXE 80 adapters can also be used with the PXCE 18-EC

Particularly interesting for owners of the FLEX PXE 80 12-EC: according to FLEX, the existing PXE 80 drive adapters can also be used with the new PXCE 18-EC.

This means that existing accessories can continue to be used, further expanding the range of applications of the new FLEX cordless polisher.

Even more possibilities with the flexible shaft

For particularly small, intricate or hard-to-reach areas, the FLEX PXCE 18-EC can also be used with a flexible shaft.
