Gyeon Q² Matte EVO - Application Tips for a Perfect Result
The better the surface preparation, the better the results in terms of protection, durability, and water beading effect.
Pre-cleaning is the foundation for the best results
- Thorough pre-wash and decontamination with Q²M Foam, Q²M Tar, Q²M Iron, Q²M Clay
- Wash the vehicle with a strong degreasing detergent, e.g., dishwashing liquid and hot water
- Remove all contaminants, waxes, and oil-based polish residues with Q²M Prep (IPA alone is not sufficient)
Application with an Applicator
- Shake the bottle, apply a few drops of Q² Matte EVO onto the applicator wrapped in a suede cloth
- Apply in a crosshatch pattern until the layer is even and saturated, working on small sections
- After 10-30 seconds, polish off any excess with a fresh microfiber towel Q²M BaldWipe to achieve a uniform finish
- After 1 hour, apply Q²M Cure Matte Spray as a top coat
- Wipe off with a Q²M SoftWipe for protection against potential water spots
Curing for Maximum Durability and Protection
- Avoid water exposure during the drying period (24 hours)
- Do not wash with car shampoo during the curing phase (14 days)
- The process can be accelerated using an infrared (IR) dryer
