The better the surface is prepared, the better the result in terms of gloss, durability and beading effect.
- Thorough pre-wash and decontamination with Q²M Foam, Q²M Tar, Q²M Iron, Q²M Clay.
-Polish all painted surfaces to a high gloss with Q²M Polish and, if necessary, Q² Primer.
-Wash the vehicle with a strongly degreasing detergent, e.g. dishwashing detergent and hot water.
-Remove all dirt, waxes and oily polish residues with Q²M Prep (IPA alone is not enough).
-Shake the bottle, apply a generous amount of Q² Base to the velour cloth wrapped around the applicator.
-Work it in crosswise (not just lay it on) until the layer is thick and even, only working on smaller areas at a time.
-After 10-20 seconds, buff out any excess with a fresh microfibre cloth Q²M BaldWipe to achieve an even finish
-Apply a thick coat of Q² Phobic after 1 hour. Work in a criss-cross pattern. Wipe off immediately and carefully, do not leave any streaks or stains. Divide larger areas (roof, bonnet, SUV doors) into sections, work carefully.
-Let the coating dry for at least 12 hours.
-Then wipe with Q²M Cure before using the vehicle. Spray Q²M Cure on a soft cloth and not directly on the paint.
-Avoid water during the drying time (24 hours), do not wash with car shampoo during the curing phase (14 days).-
